Every procedure begins with a consultation
The practice is first and foremost a medical practice: patients are examined, medicines are prescribed where needed, and where needed the patient is kept under observation and given IV drip therapy. Alongside this, the traditional and complementary medicine (GETAT) methods defined by the Turkish Ministry of Health and medical aesthetics procedures are carried out. Suitability is assessed for each patient individually.

What is offered at the practice
Procedures fall into three families: IV therapies, medical aesthetics and GETAT. Whichever family they belong to, the sequence is the same: consultation, assessment, procedure and follow-up.
Intravenous supportive therapies
IV glutathione
Glutathione, one of the body's key antioxidants, given intravenously in a drip.

Alpha-lipoic acid, an antioxidant, given intravenously to support nerve health.

Cups placed on the skin surface to create localized negative pressure (cupping therapy).

Regulatory framework
Traditional and complementary medicine methods are carried out only by a physician certified by the Turkish Ministry of Health, in a licensed unit, and within the indications the Ministry defines. These methods do not replace the medical treatment a physician has prescribed; they accompany it.
Before deciding on a procedure, I want to listen to you and examine you. If it is not suitable, I will say so.
How it works
From appointment to follow-up
The sequence is the same for every procedure; only the procedure itself changes.
Appointment
Requests arrive through the form, by telephone or on WhatsApp, and are confirmed by telephone during opening hours.
Consultation
The physician listens, examines and requests tests where needed. Whether a procedure is suitable is decided here.
Procedure
The procedure is explained, informed consent is taken, and it is carried out. Session length and number vary.
Follow-up
Aftercare instructions are given in writing. A follow-up appointment is planned according to the procedure.

At the practice in Ümraniye, Istanbul, Dr. Mehmet Demir examines patients, prescribes medicines where needed and, where needed, keeps patients under observation and gives IV drip therapy. Alongside this, the traditional and complementary medicine (GETAT) methods defined by the Turkish Ministry of Health and medical aesthetics procedures are carried out. Admission, consultation, procedure and follow-up are all handled by the same physician.
