Medical aestheticsDermapen (microneedling)
A fine-needle device creates controlled micro-channels in the skin to stimulate renewal and collagen production. A consultation is held beforehand.

- Enlarged pores
- Fine lines and loss of skin firmness
- Pigmentation and uneven skin tone
- Stretch marks
- Wound and surgical scars
- Use on the scalp in hair loss
What dermapen (microneedling) is
Dermapen is a device with many fine needles at its tip. The micro-channels it creates in the skin start the skin's repair process and stimulate collagen production; the same channels help applied serums pass into the skin. Needle depth and the interval between sessions are set at the consultation according to the area and the concern.
Who it is suitable for
Suitability is determined at the consultation, which takes account of general health, current medicines and any chronic conditions.
The conditions listed at the top of the page are assessed at the consultation. A condition appearing in the list does not mean the procedure will be carried out for it, or that a result will follow; the decision is made after the consultation.
How it is carried out
